Alan O’ Rourke from SpoiltChild Design Consultancy discusses website usability to enhance the user experience of website visitors in order to turn them into customers.

The true purpose of usability is to make money through your site by converting visitors to customers, this in turn makes the designer money as their clients are well chuffed and the cycle of client recommendations gathers momentum. Alan goes on to say that the three characteristics of good usability are obvious, obvious, obvious and that usability trumps features every time.
